REVIEW of APOKALYPSE at Galerie Fango
Apokalypse... is it true or fiction? Are we the apokalypse or a part of it? At the group exhibition we show hard paintings of Radical Realism and Shocking Art. We don't have to take position but the beholder has to. All works are ordinary things showed in a face punshing way.

APOKALYPSE Cottbus
'Auch wenn der Maya-Kalender etwas anderes erzählt, bricht unsere kleine Apokalypse schon am 25. Juni über uns herein. Die vier apokalyptischen Reiter treten in Erscheinung, in Form der Galerie Fango, dem Atelier Ebert XV, der TheaterNative C und der Lichtlounge (ehemalige Brandenburgischen Kunstsammlungen) in der Sprem.
Armageddon, Offenbarung, Zeitenwende, Das jüngste Gericht – es ist das kleine große Ende und gleichzeitig ein Neuanfang.'
... und TRIPPER ist dabei!!! Wiedermal unzensiert und einer Bildpremiere.
Wir freuen uns auf jeden Besucher, Fan und Kulturfanatiker!
Natürlich gibt es wie immer nach der Finissage alle Bilder auf diesem Block zu sehen.

Review of van ICON at FLUXUS+
VAN ICON ist mit Malereien und Collagen vertreten, die an Shocking Art und radikalen Realismus erinnern. Im Mittelpunkt stehen meist Themen wie der menschliche Alltag und die Gesellschaftskritik.
Oftmals treffen ordinäre Elemente auf scheinbar banale Gegenstände und Situationen. Ungewöhnliche Kompositionen und mehrdeutige Motive lassen die Arbeiten auf den ersten Blick „extrem“ und surreal erscheinen. Der Stil passt sich den Themen entsprechend an und reicht von Abstraktion bis zu Photorealismus und von Bleistift über Ölfarbe bis zu Salz und Teer.

We've made live paintings after we prepared our showroom for a correct studio ambient. It was a nice place for work because it was in the old Stadt- und Landesbibliothek Potsdam in the city centre. Everyone could watch us during a nine-to-five job (with paint,beer,cigarettes and kebab) thru this large shop-window.
